Worship:  10,000 Reasons by Matt Redman; Let the Whole
World Sing by Degarmo & Key;
10,000 Reasons
Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning
It's time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass, and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes
Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
You're rich in love, and You're slow to anger
Your name is great, and Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find
Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
And on that day when my strength is failing
The end draws near and my time has come
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending
Ten thousand years and then forevermore
Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
Jesus, I'll worship Your holy name
Lord, I'll worship Your holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name

Let the Whole World Sing
From the beginning You spoke the Word
And from creation Your song was heard
You taught the stars in the sky to sing,
Almighty Father, let everything you've made
Give praises to Your holy name
Let everything on earth proclaim
Let the whole world sing
Sing hallelujah to the King
Let the whole world sing
Lift up your voices, let them ring, let them ring
The angels came to announce his birth,
A Savior born to redeem the earth
The sky was darkened when Jesus died,
Creation watched as He sacrificed for me
And yet He rolled the stone away,
Triumphant over death and grave
Let the whole world sing
Sing hallelujah to the King
Let the whole world sing
Lift up your voices, let them ring, let them ring
All of my life I looked for the reason You created me
I realized my life was given just to sing a song of praise to Thee
Let the whole world sing
Sing hallelujah to the King
Let the whole world sing
Lift up your voices let them ring
Let the whole world sing
Sing hallelujah to the King
Let the whole world sing
Lift up your voices let them ring, let them ring
Ring
Let the whole world sing
And from creation Your song was heard
You taught the stars in the sky to sing,
Almighty Father, let everything you've made
Give praises to Your holy name
Let everything on earth proclaim
Let the whole world sing
Sing hallelujah to the King

Let the whole world sing
Personal: Shortened sleep day for
me. Slept less than 5 hours, but here it has moved now into the next day and I
am still up. Heard from my friend. Encouraging testimonies of God work in his life.
Thank you God, that my labor has not been totally fruitless, not my work, but
Your work in me, as I yield to Your leading, which has often been lacking
because of fear. My wife shared that times are getting rough up there because
her friend is not working. He is having trouble getting the doctors to sign off on letting him go
back to work. Is this the curse brought on him by his and her disobedience?
Praying Your will be done Lord. The song “Let the Whole World Sing” came to
mind because (God is leading me to think this way) the passage I am studying is
about a time when praise will be lifted up to God by the whole world.  The line:
“All of my life I looked for the reason You
created me, I realized my life was given just to sing a song of praise to Thee”
May be overstated, but if I
look at my life as a song sung with the words I say and the actions I take,
then let my life be a sweet melody and glorious lyrics to the Most High!

This is a somewhat difficult section to put together. How many
people groups are we talking about? Verse 30 and 31 seem to speak of two, but
how many are spoken of in verse 29? That’s where it gets murky. Also, when will
this take place? Certainly nothing like this has happened yet. The “rich”
certainly have feasted and worshipped but all
have not as this passage describes.
My adventure so far in the commentaries has not cleared things up.
Some don’t see the universal scope of this passage as a simple reading would
apply. Others go back and forth from the future to the past then forward again.
One thing is clear, that both rich and poor, both alive and dead will worship
the Lord. I will retire now and research more tomorrow.
