Have thine own way Lord was the theme of my worship

Having technical difficulties tonight. My computer would not connect to the internet. I finally rebooted the computer, but it would not come back up. I finally did a hard shutdown and it finally came back up. That kept me from journaling tonight. I wasn't able to last night because I kept falling asleep. I am praying that I get more sleep. I do not want to miss my time with you, Lord. As I have said, "time and tiredness" are my enemies. Even now my eyes are fighting to stay up. Have thine own way Lord was the theme of my worship this particular day I am sharing with you. I pray every day that I will yield to His perfect way.

O LORD each day
May I yield to Your way
And walk with integrity
So others may truly see
By living out Your Word
Not I but You O LORD!

Worship: Have Thine Own Way Lord; I Surrender by Hillsongs United

Have Thine Own Way, Lord

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me, I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o'er my being absolute sway!
Fill with Thy Spirit 'till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me.

"I Surrender"

Here I am
Down on my knees again
Surrendering all
Surrendering all

Find me here
Lord as You draw me near
Desperate for You
Desperate for You

I surrender

Drench my soul
As mercy and grace unfold
I hunger and thirst
I hunger and thirst

With arms stretched wide
I know You hear my cry
Speak to me now
Speak to me now

I surrender
I surrender
I wanna know You more
I wanna know You more
[x2]

Like a rushing wind
Jesus breathe within
Lord have Your way
Lord have Your way in me

Like a mighty storm
Stir within my soul
Lord have Your way
Lord have Your way in me

I surrender
I surrender
I wanna know You more
I wanna know You more
[x2]

Personal:
Once again, the time has eluded me, or better; I have not been a good steward of time. Doing good things but taking too long to do them. I spent too much time researching worship. Dinner was late also. I must resolve to go to bed earlier in the morning and eat earlier in the evening. Today was one of those God moments again. I hope I responded well to it. I believe my decision was of the Lord. I pray that my words to my wife were right also. She asked me to help with her friend's truck insurance (The very one she had come down and helped her leave me. The one she has moved in with). The Lord spoke to me from Romans 12 about loving your enemy and doing good to them. Providently, as to confirm my decision, He prepared a devotional to be ready for me to read today from my email with that message contained in it. Hallelujah, what a Savior!

Word:  Ps 22:6-8

6 But I am a worm and not a man,
scorned by men and despised by the people.
7 All who see me mock me;
they hurl insults, shaking their heads:
8 "He trusts in the Lord;
let the Lord rescue him.
Let him deliver him,
since he delights in him."
NIV

If verses 1-5 speak to David's feelings of abandonment by Divinity, then we can say that in verses 6-11, the Psalmist speaks to his feelings of abandonment by humanity. He feels like a "worm," a lowly creature that lives in the dirt. His detractors mock him and taunt him with the very word's expressing his fears from verses 1-5. In a more profound sense, our Lord experienced this at the cross.
The Bible exposition Commentary says:

He was despised by the people (vv. 6-11). These words especially apply to our Savior. "I am a worm and not a man" (NASB) is a forgotten "I am" statement that speaks of how little value the leaders of Israel and the Roman officials placed on Jesus of Nazareth. A worm is a creature of the ground, helpless, frail, and unwanted. Isa 52:14 predicted that Messiah would be terribly disfigured by His enemies and not even look human. (See also Isa 49:7; 50:6 and 53:3, and for "reproach," see  Ps 69:9 and Rom 15:3. For the fulfillment of vv. 7-8, see Matt 27:39 and 43, Mark 15:29, and Luke 23:35-36.) David reminded the Lord that from birth He had cared for him, so why abandon him now? (See Ps 139:13-16.) David had learned to trust in the Lord ("hope," KJV) from infancy, and was not going to relent now. "Trust" is used three times in verses 4-5 and also in verse 8.

With this I end because time is up for tonight.
